American Health Care Act Reform

Nick presented “The American Health Care Act: What it means for Wyoming physicians, this time”, to the Natrona County Medical Society on Wednesday June 7, 2017, in Casper, Wyoming. Nick’s presentation discussed the genesis of the most recent round of health care reform, including the American Health Care Act, ACA and MACRA. Environmental Policy

Courtney recently taught an environmental economics class at the University of Wyoming. The basis of the class was on increasing economic incentives in environmental policy.

Southeast Wyoming Estate Planning Council

Greg serves as part of the panel for the Southeast Wyoming Estate Planning Council. As such, Greg was recently asked to speak about how clients and individual fiduciaries tend to improperly handle their estate planning duties and all the disabilities that arise in those functions and roles.

Robert’s Rules

Greg has been busy lately speaking to various groups about how to efficiently run a board meeting. In March, Greg spoke to a group of Carbon County public and non-profit board members concerning how to conduct quality board meetings. Greg examined and outlined the usefulness of following Robert’s Rules of Order to keep the board meetings orthodox and sound.

Facilitating Philanthropy

Greg recently spoke to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation about fiduciary duties of board members and the their specific role in facilitating philanthropy.

Outstanding Eagle

The National Eagle Scout Association awarded Greg Dyekman the Outstanding Eagle award. The award recognizes Eagle Scouts who have brought great honor to the highest rank of the Boy Scouts of America through their personal and professional contributions in the local, state, and regional level. University of Wyoming – Haub School of ENR

In March, Courtney was invited to be a guest speaker at the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources, in Laramie, Wyoming.

Courtney’s speech entailed her current career path, what it’s like to work in the legal field, the various research and creative work she has been blessed to do in the positions she has held, and what her future path and direction entails.

Super Lawyers Mountain States 2017

Foreign Investment in Real Estate: Wyoming

Greg was recently published in Practical Law Real Estate for Thomson Reuters by answering a variety of questions regarding foreign investments. A couple of the questions posed included whether permission is required for out state domestic company investors to acquire real property and questions regarding state restrictions and reporting requirements.
